How the service works
The receptionist service processes calls through Vapi. The backend uses call details and structured reception notes to prepare individual follow-up messages during clinic hours and scheduled call digests. The messages are sent to the clinic using Gmail’s email-sending service.
The notes help reception staff follow up on requests. They are not a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, appointment confirmation, or emergency service.
